This is going to take more than the moments I have now to share properly but while I’m here I feel the need to share something now.
This trip with Volcanoes safari has been far and away the most exciting safari I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Africa many times and each has impacted me but the emotions I felt today – before, during and after seeing these incredible beasts – is like no other. There are only 900 left in the world. I feel entirely blessed to have spent time amongst them.
More soon

Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to do this with my daughter. She loves Gorillas, but we have to wait until she is old enough. Hopefully, there will still be 900+ by the time we go. Maybe you can share more about how we can support the conservation efforts in your future posts. Looking forward to hearing more about your experience.
Minimum age for tracking is 15 but I’d love to do it with the boys at some point too.
We can’t wait to read more about your visit with the gorillas and your visit to Rwanda in general. What an inspiring trip! It’s definitely on our list of places to get to some day. For now, we look forward to traveling vicariously through you. Enjoy!
I’m glad you’re enjoying it with me! So much more to tell!
I’m stuck for words. Amazing.
It has been so inspiring and beautiful
Holy crap. Astounding.
Lady, so much more to tell but wifi is working against me. Such a privilege to be here.
My dream. Enjoy every second!
I am Bonnie. Smiling a lot here :)
Stunning photos! I went gorilla trekking, as well, but in Uganda. Have you been to Uganda, before?
Yes, on this trip! We crossed over the border and checked out the Volcanoes Safaris lodge in Uganda as well. It was stunning there.
