Thanks Pat! All kudos due to http://www.rondoylewrites.com. I’ve tweaked things here and there but he’s the brains behind the site’s design for sure. I’d love to chat about my experiences with blogging though. Any time.
I surely hope you are going to South America. The kids will learn at lot in Quito, Ecuador. They got to see the monument right in the middle of the World. Right beside Mitad del Mundo, is a museum about the Incas and they will show you how the water runs different depending if you are facing south or north. Pretty Cool!

What a wonderful way to educate your boys. They will learn more this year than they will in all their years of traditional schooling. I just read about your travels in the Toronto Star. Kudos to you for doing what most of us only dream of.
Hey Mustafa, We landed in Beijing about two weeks ago and slowly headed south toward Guilin. Glad to hear you’re back home. Say hi to Sylvia and keep in touch.
so I walk into this restaurant on Huai Hai Lu, a Sichuan place and I see this family of 4 sitting at a table, a young Mom and a young Dad and two young kids. They’re Black and speaking American. We’re in Shanghai. You don’t see many African-American “gui lou’s” in China – a focus on the “American” and not African part. And so I walk over and say “I heard you speaking American” (or something similarly “we’re both from somewhere else together”), and Heather smiles and says they’re Canadian – eh, excuse me. And it was lovely to talk, and your blog is beautifully put together and what I’ve read so far is beautifully written. Travel well.
hey Ethan and Cameron its me Sajan. I am following you guys website. I am hoping you guys are having a good time. I have seen most of your photos and I can not wait to see you guys again bye
~Hi Guys, I found you blog yesterday, its FANTASTIC!! We love to travel also (our kids are 14, 9 & 7). I know they will love your blog! I’m going to start reading this to them every evening! How AWESOME!!!!!

Hi Heather and Ish and Boys, I’ve been reading your website for a while, but as a not very computer literate person I just figured out that I can say hi. It’s so great to see that you are having such an amazing time and seeing all these fabulous places and meeting lots of great people. I loved the chinese haircut article. So glad to hear that GAP made Galapagos possible for you. It’s such an amazing place. You asked for some tips – try not to miss Varanasi in India and I am sure that Ngorongoro crater is on your list in Tanzania. I am looking forward to more of your experiences. Keep healthy and travel safe.

Please continue to chime in,
Heather, Ish, Ethan and Cam
